A MAN who provided a friendly face as he welcomed new life into the world, joined happy couples together and gave a fitting farewell to those who passed away, has died.
FRIENDS and family said a final farewell to a resident who made a great impact on village life with his great sense of community spirit.
KENNETH William Freeman, who was born in Lewisham, London, in 1931, died on February 7. 
Edward Albert Jackman, of Selbourne Avenue, New Haw, died in St Peter’s Hospital, aged 88.
