It’s double your money for the hospice thanks to Oakcroft

The quiz was so popular that Sister Ann Board invited participants to her home in Engliff Lane, Pyrford, and held the quiz in a marquee in her garden.
Oakcroft manager Vivien Grieve said: “Staff and friends paid £10 for the general knowledge quiz and a fish and chip supper. It was a great evening and a real social event. Staff from Woking Hospice are exceptionally supportive to us and our residents and with our nurse training.”
The home has already donated £1,350 raised at the quiz to the hospice and last week BUPA matched the amount raised by the staff. Ann was invited to present the healthcare organisation’s cheque for £1,350 to Mary Lacey at the hospice.
Ann said: “As our local hospice, we decided Woking Hospice would be a good cause for donations.
