The fete was held in the church grounds on Camphill Road and proved to be a popular event, raising  £2,300. The Cobham brass band provided entertainment throughout the day while visitors tried their luck on the tombola and various stalls.
Rev Alan Elkins said: “The organist played a variety of music in the church. We raised about £2,300 on the day and a quarter of this will go to help the homeless project in York Road in Woking.
“The rest of the profits from the day will go towards the general upkeep of the church.

His wife Joy added: “We were so lucky with the weather. The barbecue was popular, as were the bacon butties and salads.
“It was a great day with a happy atmosphere.
