Barn dance gets people in the swing

Organiser Maggie Atterbury said it was an enjoyable event and many people had told her they were already looking forward to next year’s event.
Musical accompaniment was provided by a band called Jigsaw by way of a violin, piano accordion, guitar and a caller. A welcome break from the dancing came in the form of a fish and chip supper.
Mrs Atterbury said: “The barn dance is a fundraising event for the church and we always have a mixture of people attending from the wider community and not just the parish. We had a good evening and I look forward to next year’s event.
