The collision occurred at 7.48am at the junction of High Road and Parvis Road and involved a blue Vauxhall Tigra and a grey Fiat Doblò Cargo van. A police spokesman said nobody was trapped after the collision but the female driver of the Tigra sustained minor injuries including whiplash. After treatment at St Peter’s Hospital the woman was allowed to go home.
