Order is extended

The court heard Raphael was made the subject of a community order on November 1 this year to complete 60 hours’ unpaid work for a public order offence.
Probation Service employee Conrad Higgins told the court  Raphael, 20, had failed to attend appointments on November 5 and November 19 without “adequate grounds.”
He also said Raphael had failed to carry out any of the 60 hours’ unpaid work he was sentenced to, adding: “It is very disappointing  he has completed no hours whatsoever.”
Chairman of the bench Eddie Hill said: “We don’t think you are treating this sentence with any seriousness at all.”
Raphael was told the order would continue, plus an extra 16 hours’ unpaid work, and was ordered to pay costs of £55
