THIEVES got away with goods valued at more than £500 when they broke into Woolworths in Station Approach, West Byfleet overnight on September 2. The two offenders, who were recorded on CCTV, initially tried to force their way through the rear security door but then went to the front of the shop and tried to smash the glass on the automatic front doors. They were unable to smash the glass so removed the rubber seal around the window, removed the pane of glass and gained entry to the store. The offenders stole three Sony Playstation portable consoles valued at £180 each.
