The Artsmark recognises schools that demonstrate a commitment to providing opportunities in all artforms from drama to music, design to literature and dance to sculpture.
The scheme also encourages schools to work with artists and art organisations.
Headteacher Marie Cahill  said: “I am delighted the Arts Council has recognised the school’s progressive, well-balanced arts education programme which enables pupils to enjoy dance, drama, music and art and design.
“To achieve Artsmark status we have improved our provision of the creative arts both in school time and through after school clubs. Additionally more pupils have visited the theatre and art galleries.”
Sir Christopher Frayling, chairman of the Arts Council England, said: “It is very encouraging to see so many schools displaying such dedication to their arts provision.
“They are bringing the arts alive for young people.
