Photo: Ben W Many of the 66 people who attended were dressed up in red and white to symbolise the Cross of St George, England’s flag. They enjoyed a lavish three-course lunch that included roast beef with Yorkshire puddings and an apple pie dessert. Entertainment was provided by Rob Russell, who played the keyboard and sang a selection of popular songs, while the guests and visitors joined in the singing and dancing. Manager of St Mary’s Centre, Jackie Russell, said: “It was wonderful and there was a lovely atmosphere. “Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
