Egg-cellent time had by all
.  Decorating eggs was high on the agenda for West Byfleet Infants School pupils Millie and Matthew Residents from nearby sheltered housing Stoop Court went along to the assembly when Mr Elkins talked about the meaning of Easter and how eggs symbolise new life. After the gathering, the Stoop Court residents enjoyed coffee and hot-cross buns and admired the display of eggs created by the children. Throughout the day each class at the school in Camphill Road was invited to go along to look at the display of decorated eggs and after school parents were able to view their children’s creative work. Headteacher Shirley James said: “There were some wonderful eggs on display and the children worked hard to produce the excellent exhibits.
