Threshers hold-up

Threshers in Coldharbour Road was held up by the man at around 8.30pm. He escaped with £42.80 and let off a shot from the BB gun as he left.
At around 12.50pm on Tuesday, a man entered Lloyds Chemist, also in Coldharbour Road, and tried to obtain a prescription by deception. The police were alerted by the chemist. A WPC arrived but the man escaped. Police are not linking the incidents.
Detective Inspector Neville Blackwood said: “The robbery has caused some concern and I am keen to work with the community to allay fears.”
Councillor Peter Ankers said: “We have always regarded Pyrford as a safe and pleasant place to live and it is very sad that even the small shops are now targets for criminals.”
