Folk festival will be repeated

Mike Silver headlined at the Blue Anchor folk festival.

Entertainment included music by Mike Silver, a songwriter and musician with more than 30 years’ experience, who has enjoyed success in the UK and around the world.
The event also included morris dancers, traditional Irish music and Folk Club Hour — when local artists and guests are encouraged to perform.
The celebrations were organised by Mike Peach, who said: “It was a fantastic day, everything went according to plan and we hope to do it again next year.
