Every summer in conjunction with schools finishing for the holidays, the group holds its exhibition to display the work its members have created throughout the year.
Of the 65 members of Byfleet Art Group, 16 chose to exhibit their work to the public, showing around 150 pieces of artwork as well as craftwork including hand-made cards and silk scarves.
Chairman of the group Audrey Laycock said: “We had the most gorgeous day, it was sunny and not too hot.
“I think less people attended the exhibition because they were out and about enjoying the good weather but quite a few people did come along to support our members.”
She added: “Our sales were good but of course they could always be better.”
Money from sales of the artwork will go to the individual artist, with a percentage ploughed back into the art group to help with running costs
