The central fuselage was welcomed by HRH Prince Michael of Kent and several Surrey mayors including the Mayor of Woking, Cllr Richard Sanderson.
All the parts of the Concorde, registered G-BBDG, are now safely at the Brooklands Road location where a major part of every Concorde was made prior to dispatch to the Filton or Toulouse plants for final assembly.
Now Brooklands Museum has the massive task of rebuilding the supersonic aircraft and fitting it out to its original splendour.
The final giant element of  G-BBDG travelled by road from Filton, near Bristol and was finally driven through the gates of the museum at 5pm.
In celebration of this great achievement the museum stayed open until 8pm.
All visitors were invited to charge their glasses with free bubbly and toast the famous airliner as it was driven into the historic site.
Brooklands is still raising funds to totally restore the aircraft and house it properly as it will be the only Concorde in the south east that can be visited by the public.
The museum is seeking help and gifts in kind to cope with the project and make the aircraft available for viewing as soon as possible.
If you can help or wish to make a donation contact museum director Allan Winn on 01932 857381 or email allanwinn@brooklandsmuseum.com.
