The event was attended by staff, representatives of Woking Area Primary Care Trust, founding benefactors, patrons and committee members of The Friends of West Byfleet Health Centre.
The Health Centre was redeveloped and opened for service in July this year.
The centre in Madeira Road is leased from a private company, Appollo Medical Properties Ltd. It was designed by architect John Turner and the construction team was led by Galliford Try.

The three GP practices, Dr Cummin and partners, Dr Lawrence and partners and the newly renamed Parishes Bridge Practice along with the local community trust are based at the new premises.
The modern, well-equipped building is designed to provide enhanced facilities for staff and patients, in particular for the elderly, disabled and young children.

The Friends of West Byfleet Health Centre is a charity established under the leadership of chairman John Bedford.
The Friends group raised significant donations from  patients and businesses to enable a specially-designed minor operating theatre to be fitted with the latest equipment so patients can have minor surgical procedures performed by their own doctors.
In addition, the Busenhart Morgan-Evans Foundation has purchased a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine, which enables an echocardiography service to be provided for patients.
There are plans in the new year for abdominal ultrasound examinations to be made at the new centre.
The practices are grateful for the support from patients and local companies and for the continued dedication of their staff
