The fair, held at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Coldharbour Road, included 37 manned stalls and another 27 people displaying information on the various organisations within the village.
Pyrford resident and member of the parish of Wisley with Pyrford Eldon Sandys explained the idea behind the event.
He said: “More than 50 groups and organisations have activities and events taking place in Pyrford on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis, all of which contribute to the community spirit.
“Newcomers to the area and some longer term residents may not realise the wide range of activities which happen in their area.
“Many Pyrford residents already benefit from and contribute to these organisations but we wanted to give everyone the chance of learning more about them by putting them all on under one roof for one day.”
Event organiser Diane Davidson, who came up with the idea for the fair, described the day as a “tremendous success”.
She said: “A lot of people turned out and I think it achieved what I wanted it to.
“We were delighted to see people at the fair who are new to the village or just recently retired.
“A number of people said they had lived in Pyrford for years and didn’t know there was so much going on — that summed it up for me.
