Phone lines down after lorry hit telegraph pole

SIX residents have been left without a phone line after a lorry hit a telegraph pole and brought down telephone wiring.

The incident happened after water, which has been flooding the road for weeks, froze over causing the driver to lose control in Anchor Hill, Knaphill, last week.
