A 20-year-old from Addlestone was arrested after officers from Surrey Police stopped him at Scotland Lock in Camphill Road on Saturday. They discovered the knife in an air rifle case that the man was carrying. He told officers the gun was to shoot at targets on private land and that he carried the knife to deal with wildlife.
